oh hun, i feel for ya! i'm going through it too!!! it's a very difficult stage in so many ways. my almost 4 year old is very demanding such as, what she just said this morning, "mooooom! why are you making your bed when you should give me food?" i couldnt help but laugh at that question but my days are filled with those. i've learned to get tricky. usually when she is whining and fussing, she's either hungry or tired. i will admit, the tv is my saver right now. but there are times where i will grab a coloring book and crayons, lay on the floor and just start coloring, without saying anything. eventually, she will take interest and start to color with me. if she doesnt want to color, she'll find something else to do alongside me. try this site for some simple ideas: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article... it's all about distraction. good luck and dont forget to breathe!

My four year old is the exact same way. She is very defiant and screams and throws tantrums. I have just gotten to the point where i tell her to go to her room and when she is done screaming she can come out and we can talk about what is upsetting her. Also if i tell her no about something or i tell her to go and do something and she doesn't listen i stick to my guns and make her do what she needs to do. Like she wont get to go and play outside until her room is clean, or if i say no to her having another cookie it is no and thats it. Its hard but we are getting through it i think its just a phase. I would say just try to stay as consistent and calm as possible with her and things will get better. I hope this helped and good luck! :)
