6yo daughter no longer playing w/ school friends

I am desperate for help and feeling so heartbroken. My little girl tells me that nothing's wrong and she doesn't know why her recess play behaviors have changed. She's been going to the same school since PreK and has the same group of friends w/ a few new additions. She tells me that sometimes she wants to play with her friends (including her best friend) but that most of the time she doesn't want to and instead wants to play by herself. I'm struggling to balance the need to support her independent play but also to find out if there's anything causing the change in behavior. At least one of her friends has said that she doesn't want a playdate with my little girl because she doesn't think my daughter wants to be her friend anymore. Thoughts anyone? Is this normal? Should I be concerned? Should I just keep an eye on it? Help!! My heart is breaking at the thought that she's isolating herself for some reason.

My son is 5 sometimes he seperates from the other kids, he gets mad at them when the pick on him. He has always attached himself to another shy kid and they always go on and off, making new friends and not wanting to talk to the old friend. I always remind him he can have more than one friend, he just doesnt want to. Im having him tested for Autism just incase I know it has levels and degrees.
