Thanks so much for the ideas I really liked the movie idea and the beach bbq idea. If you have any more please tell me. Thank you!

And - depending on the weather and where you live and whatnot... when I lived in Florida, one of my girlfriends did an evening BBQ at the beach with a bon-fire and Smores.. we were 13, I think... it was a boy / girl party - supervised, but a little romantic - it was the first time I held a boys hand in front of my mom. The casual camping type atmosphere put us all at ease and we played volleyball. It was fun and memorable.

I always liked scavenger hunts - at any age. Then as a teen, I had a party once where we all came dressed as what we would be in twenty years... and part of the invitation was filling out a deal with all the guest listed - we each guessed what we thought other people would be. The finding out what others thought you would be was fun... and my friends got fun and crazy with their costumes. Then another thing I LOVED - especially if it is a sleepover - was when my friend had a "build your own sundae" bar. I was a bit younger - about 10, but that one really stuck in my head, because the mom had like every Sundae topping that you could dream up... we all gorged ourselves - lol.

for my daughters 12th b-day, we all got together for a midnite movie, some of the other moms to see breaking dawn, but for my step-sons birthday, we had a climbing party at an indoor climbing structure and that was a big hit. everyone packed a lunch as the day pass was for open climbing from 12-10pm and a reception area for the cake n ice cream. hope this helps.
