my daughters doc changed her adderall and then went on vacition.he put her on risperdone and isnt even around to make sure she has no bad side effects with this new drug.dose anyone else think that this is just a tad wrong?

Is this doctor the only practitioner in the practice? I only ask because the practice we go to has two pediatricians. Whenever our primary pediatrician is on vacation, we can rely on the other, who is just as experienced and capable.



We sometimes forget that doctors have lives and families too. I don't know that I would agree with him prescribing a new medication knowing he was leaving, but perhaps he was counting on a backup or it was an emergency?

I think it is very wrong. i think that you need to look for a new doctor because this one doesn't seem to care about your daughter or anyone else's kids.
