Space Alien
Ingredients

* Vanilla almond bark candy
* Thin salted pretzel twists
* Green liquid food coloring
* Green leaf-shape jelly candy
* Candy-coated chocolate candies
* Sathers Cherry Sour candies

Directions

1. Melt the almond bark candy according to package directions. Use tongs or a fork to dip pretzels into melted candy. Place the dipped pretzels on waxed paper to dry. For white aliens, dip the pretzels a second time. For green aliens, tint the melted candy green and dip them once. (Tinted candy has a thicker consistency than untinted candy.)

2. To make eyes for an alien, cut a jelly candy in half, creating two half-leaf shapes; trim off the top curved edges to slim the shapes. Cut a candy-coated chocolate candy in half for irises. Cut a Cherry Sour candy in half to make a mouth.

3. Use melted almond bark candy and a toothpick to attach the eyes and mouth to the pretzel. Press the cut edges of the irises to the jelly-candy eyes referring to the photo for placement.

ingredients

* 1 bag (17.5 oz.) peanut butter cookie mix

* 1/2 cup flour

* Green food coloring

* 1/2 cup granulated sugar

* 1 cup M&M’S® Brand Peanut Chocolate Candies

* 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line sheet pans with foil.

* 2. Prepare the cookie mix according to package instructions. Knead in the flour and some of the green food coloring.

* 3. Pull off walnut-size nuggets of dough. Shape into 1 - 1 1/2-inch ovals and roll in sugar. Place on the foil lined sheet pans about 2 inches apart. Press M&M’S® Brand Peanut Chocolate Candies onto one end as the toenail. Bake in a preheated 350°F for approximately 9-12 minutes, or until just golden and cookies have puffed and spread. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool completely.

* Tip: If peanut butter cookies aren’t a favorite, then exchange the peanut butter cookie mix with a sugar cookie mix.
