all the things they tell you to do, puts stress on your chiid. They want it to stop so bad. just give them confidence by telling them this happens to many kids and they will outgrow it. I know how hard this is to do, but as a former bed wetter and the mother of five bed wetters, I know how much your chid is suffering. he wants to stay dry more then you want him too.Don't talk about the failures, but celebrate the successes, while reminding them that there may be a few more failures till it stops altogether. You will see the joy on his face when he passes a few nights dry

If he is only doing it while sleeping, don't worry about it, some kids just have a hard time at night. I had five late bed wetters although they were dry during the day. Making a big deal out of it makes it harder on themm they really suffer a lot themselves, even if they don't say so. If it is during the day, take them to the potty every hour, tell Him you need to go back to training paints, until he learns. But make sure he understands that these are not baby diapers, but training paints to help him learn. Revard him withsomething and ice , storry walk in the park etc when he has a good day, but dont' mention the bad daysl just let it go

My son did the same thing when he was three, after not saying anything, I begin to follow his path, watching closely, it turned out the summer camp teacher was to harsh on him, so he took his frasturation by peeing at night, he could not explain, so slowly I forced him to tell me at night what he did all day, and talked about the people he was interacting, It stopped immediately, he peed just four times into his bed before the talks, just hug your boy, go to bed with him, and assure that you and him can solve any problems, most of the time peeing is a rebel to his social life. Maybe something bothers him and he can not talk about it.

Make regular secduled times for him to go to the bathroom. Then after a while, he'll stop.my kid was like that

If anyone has a solution, it'll be great. My daughter is 10 & still wets the bed as she sleeps 'like the dead'! It used to be funny when she was younger as I joked to my friends & family that I could shower & change her whilst she's sleeping but now... it makes it really hard to get her to wake up to use the toilet. I have tried to get her to drink less at night & to use the toilet just before sleeping, but it's not a foolproof way.

Hi!



Some time later... At the end what stopped my son's problem was 2 very relaxed weeks of family quality time!!! Really!!



He is ADHS, so he was in theraphy. One day he draw me as a "quick bird", because mumy was always running from one place to other (and taking him with me, of course!). I almost cryed with this.



So I quit a lot of stuff and decided to run less and relax more, be less stressed and have more quality time with him.



And that was it.



Month later after that, he was still on pull-ups at night. One friend (psic.) told me to only let the pants and wait to see... And he (almost) never peeed in the night!!



So... may be stress??



KIERA: Have you ask for a gluten allergy test?

My daughter has a terrible case of explosive diarrhea. She has uncontrolable bowels, so she dosent know if she needs the loo. SHe will go to the toilet anywhere, and it quite often is all over everthing. She does this at school, and is bullied.

Her diarrhea is watery, brown and when she does it she does a lot of it. THis si up to ten times a day - imagnine the hassle i have.

We have been to every doctor possible, but when they try to examine her behind, she just does darrhea, on the doctor!

It is hell! Please (in detail) What should i do?



p.s. Me and my partner both had similar things.

Good Luck! I have a 5 and half year old he was doing good going to potty,we did and still do charts,rewards,etc he has good days and bad days, when bad day its a really bad day he not only pees,he poos and there have been more than a few times i have walked into litteraly a room full of poo from him being curious. :) When you find something you let me know,just wanted you to know your not alone.

he either has a medical problem or hes doing it as a way of showing you hes upset with you . talk to your doctor to see if its a medical issue or an emotional issue

never put pullups on a potty trained child . you never revert back to a baby stage. you need your doctors opinion on this right away. my son has a bowel problem hes had since 4 months of age . its been really bad.

I honestly don't know what to say....My son is the same way and he is 7 now and at times he still wets the bed at night. During the day he is fine, but at night is my worry. i am getting tired of washing his sheets daily. I don't know what to do. When I spoke to his doctor about this she said he might have an infection but he didn't. the only good thing he does now is that when he wets the bed he will get up early in the morning remove his sheets and place them next to the washer and then go take a shower. But I am tired of having this happen everyday.

my son is 5 yrs and i been getting him dry by waking him up at 10 pm to take him to loo and he dry for rest of the night keep doing that till u feel and he ready to go threw the night with out weting and keep tell him he big boy now but i have to say it lot harder with my son then it was with my older girl she 7 and she been dry due and night since she was 4 but never get mad at him it doesnt mean there a medical all children start when they are happy and ready and all children are different some take longer and some dont i realise that with my little girl it also goes dueing the day when ur child is ready then she or he be ready then have a go just keep a potty or show where loo is and keep saying to the child do u want to use loo even if he or she say no put the child on there i know going bk to when frist started but may help him or she realise that he is a big boy now not baby i have to keep saying that oh star chart are good for that as well not just for being good i hope this help

Thanks for the answer. The psycologist and teachers told us not to put diapers again, because he feels even more confident and doesn't even bother to go to the wc. He has to wash his clothes, at least pre-wash them. But it's not working, he makes it automatically already, but is as he doesn't realize that the behavior is wrong.
I also though of a physical problem, but our dr. says he's ok...
Thanks, maybe someone has already this experience before?

You CAN'T get mad at him. there may be a medical problem.

When he does it, try to stay calm and have him do EVERY step of the clean up with you until he can do it himself... he may change by that time, but he will see first hand how much work it is.

Also... make him wear pull ups.. he may not like it but it will teach him that if he doesnt want to wear baby diapers... he will need to act like a big boy.
