At what age do you introduce deodrants to your child when you have noticed them smelling sweat. My daughter is 7 years old. Your answers will be greatly appreciated.

Lol! I would say if you have noticed an odor it is the right time, no matter what their age. It's never to early to start. It's a matter of good hygiene.

I introduced deodorant to my son when he showed interest. He was about your daughters age. He didn't stink, but I figured might as well get him used to it while he wanted to do it! You don't need to say anything about odor, but maybe let her know big girls wear it! Then if she asks maybe explain a little more.

My girls started at an early age to be like mom. My five year old now puts it on everyday. I think that the important thing to do is to make it fun and not a chore.

If they stink... it's time. My just turned 9 year olds have been using it for about 6 months now. They still need reminded on occasion since it hasn't become a daily habit of theirs yet.

My son was about 8 when I noticed he needed deodorant. I talked to my doctor and she said it was okay for him to start using deodorant.

My sons only four and although he gets sweaty through the day i dont expect to be buying deoderant anytime soon, however when the time does come where personal hygiene and self preservation are brought to attention I'd consider a natural based deoderant, thier skin is way too young for them to be applying chemicals that will be absorber- I'm not a hippy or anything lol just the idea of sprays being inhaled or metals being applied makes me queasy considering it will be done almost daily from then on- besides I'm sure in time with demand being made for pre pubesant deoderants marketeering will step in and perhaps more product choice will be available :)

I started my daughter on Roll on at 7. I like the idea of deodrant on her skin. The roll on is Aluminium free. Its an organic one which is said to be the safest for kids.

My oldest daughter started wearing it when she was 10, but not every day. I bought some for my 8 year old to start her learning to use it, especially on days when they have PE in school.

My son will be 7 this month, and I haven't noticed him smelling sweaty but he wears deoderant every day. By choice, because dad does it lol. I think 7 is a pretty good age in my opinion! :)
