do all siblings fight tooth and nail?

I have a 13 year old son and a 6 year old daughter. They don't fight tooth and nail but they do bicker and antagonise one another. Other times they will play together nicely. But my son is at that age where he wants his privacy so when they are apart it does tend to be quieter in the house!!!

My kids fight all the time! My daughter is 5 and her brother is 7 and she will physically take him down. He gets mad and then it seems like it will never end. 10 minutes later they will be playing together like nothing happened.

My twins are 12 and constantly argue one of the twins constantly fights with her five year old brother... My sisters and I fought like idiots until we were all grown and out of the house :)

Not all - but most. Some tooth and nail - others just petty squabbles. Depends on sex, years apart in age, and where they fall in the lineup. My oldest two fought constantly, but the middle and youngest hardly at all.

Hi my boys are 13 n 11 they are allways at each other as soon as they wake up till the time they go 2 sleep at night its getting hard now as they are older n have more strength they getting into wrestling matches n its allways the younger one that gets hurt then he will get reall mad n just run for his brother I think Its a compitions thing whos the tuffest Im so hoping they will grow out of it b4 they get 2 adults

I have three boys age 8,7, and 4. My 7 and 8 year fights all the time. My 4 year old and 7 year old fight alot. However the 8 year old and 4 year old are best friends.

YES. My daughters, 19 & 4, fight like they are closer in age. I did not have my children close together but I never thought the bickering that goes on in my house would be going on. I have to mediate because my oldest is use to just the two of us now she has to share her mom with a step father ( parttime) & a little sister. It's hard but I try to let them work it out.

I have 3 boys, ages 12, 11, and 2. The 12 and 11-year-olds fight constantly when they are together, and my 12-year-old has days where he picks on my youngest son, and it drives me crazy! The two younger ones get along great. They can sit and play games, watch movies, etc for hours together, but that oldest one does not "play well with others" and is miserable if he is by himself! I have an appt in September for some family therapy, hoping maybe this is what we all need!!!!

My boys are 6 and 4 and constantly argue about everything. They are also constantly wrestling and someone gets hurt (not bad but just enough to make them whine or cry). No matter how much we try to explain being nice to each other and easy, they just keep doing it.

I didn't fight with my sister tooth and Nail. I didn't really know my youngest sister too much as she is 9.5 years younger than me and I started to go in and out of foster homes then. My middle sister seemed to get along for the most part. She has a lot of anger right now with me from 25-30 years ago, as she lives in the past. My mom said that her 2 year old is going through the terrible 2s right now, she also has a 2month old baby. I haven't seen my newest nephew nor my son had seen his cousin. Really sad that people can't get along, because we are adults now and we both have kids, and she won't let go of the past for my son to see his Cousins.

My sons are 6 and 3 1/2 they fight all the time, if it is anything like how I fought with my brother and sister I am in BIG trouble. But sometimes they do play and get along and I just love watching them interact nicely together it depends on the day

My children don't fight but my sister and I did. My kids have disagreements from time to time but I wouldn't say they fight tooth and nail. They have a healthy respect for each other's privacy and that is very helpful. I wish my sister and I had that. We still don't like each other much......
