Does anyone have any fun suggestions for motivating kids to keep up with their chores?

I am looking to introduce a reward system for my 8 year old son but want to do something fun. We've tried star charts and magnetic chore charts before. They work for the first week, then my son quickly loses interest. Does any one have any suggestions on fun ideas for chores? Something that the kids can do online would be great.

We've had the same problem.  It was suggested that we change up the rewards every now and then to keep it interesting for them.  Something we do now is rotate chores so that they are doing something different everyday.

well i take care of about 5 children including my own three and they range from the ages of 6-9yrs old. one thing that i did that i found to work very well was the the good job ticket system. i went to a dollar store and found good job tickets or yo can make your own and they needed to accumulate 10 for the week and at the end of the week whomever collected 10 tickets got to pick a toy in my treasure box which consisted of toys that the other children didn't want anymore, stickers, pencils, rings. (mainly party favors from the dollar store). i have tons of ideas, let me know if this helps
