My son is turning 12 soon and I am wondering if arranging goodie bags for a party at his age is too juvenile?

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

I agree it depends on your son ask him first and let him pick out within reason and cost what he wants to put in the bags. Everyone likes surprises. Have fun and happy birthday to your son.

Why not ask your son if he finds that it is too juvenile? If he is not embarrassed by the idea of loot bags, then chances are his friends won't be either. He may also have great suggestions about what to put in them, if you both chose to give them out.

Why not? His friends will be happy to receive it. I used to give goodie bags to my children friends although we never invite them to the birthday party (only celebrate with family members). I put stationary (note book, earaser, ruler ext.) on top of chocolates and other tisbits. At 12 yrs old, they are still considered as kid.. they'll love it. Happy Birthday to your son. May all his dreams come true. Best Regards.
