My daughter has been potty trained since she was like 18 mos. At 2 yrs old her dad and I split up and she went back to pull ups. It only took a few months to get her going again. She has always had a few accidents. It really became a problem when she would wet her self in her 4k class. She would come home in the schools extra clothes. She would do good for a while then go right back to peeing in her pants. She knows that she has to go but she just doesnt go. She will hold it until she cant hold it anymore and is almost going to pee then she goes. She is doing it a lot now and she will be starting 5k in Aug. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am desperate to find something that will work!

She does it at home and at school. So I am not sure what is going on with her. My step son does the exact same. So they are making it hard to potty train my 2 yr old. She thinks that by peein in her pants she is doing a good thing. She sees her sister and brother doin it and she wont go. Thanks for the sympathy and advice:)

I wish I had some advice for you.. I can give you some relief though...Your Not Alone!! My son is 6 yr old and I have problems with him peeing in his pants also; nothing tragic happened to change this. He was potty trained and then he just went downhill from there. He just finished Kindergarten and had gone through a "ton" of problems at school because of this. BTW. my son also has BM in his underwear (he never really got that under control) ... This all resulted in him going to 1/2 days after Spring Break... Needless to say that didn't change anything; it just confused him all the more..... He has been going to a GI doctor and a behaviorial therapist. I do wish you the BEST of Luck..... Hopefully we will both get some much needed answers soon!! Take Care Kristy:)

Is it possible she has a urinary tract infection? Or....my youngest hated using the restrooms at school and had a couple of accidents when she first started. She soon figure out that the restrooms were safe and it stopped.

Does she do this at home or only at school? If she only does it at school I would say there is a problem there. Maybe something as simple is she is shy & afraid to ask to go. I've always assured my kids if they have to go to just get up and go they won't be in trouble.
