antibiotics can cause yeast infections- if the doc keeps putting her on antibiotics (Why? unless it's a bacterial infection, that won't do anything at all. If it is a bacterial infection, then probiotics will be a very good idea anytime she- or anyone- gets antibiotics for any reason.) Probiotics taken during and after a course of antibiotic treatment will help repopulate the body with good, healthy bacteria (antibiotics kill both good and bad bacteria; if most of the bacteria in the are are killed off, yeast that is present in a healthy number can easily overgrow to take over the empty spaces from the now-dead bacteria, unless those spaces get repopulated by healthy-for-you bacteria.) Vinegar rinses directly on her (or any kind of douching) changes the pH of the vaginal area- changes in pH can also cause problems with appropriate bacteria/etc balance. Use just plain water, and make sure she's dry. Let her "air out" by not wearing underwear at night. Make sure she's wearing cotton underclothes during the day.

Stop the baths, have showers. Is she wearing knickers to bed? Stop that too. Let the area air out. Trying an anti-fungal cream may help too. Is it hurting her? Sometimes my 4yr old daughter gets a discharge but it doesn't seem to bother her. I am struggling with this issue myself at the moment!

what about washing her underwear with a soap for senavite skin or just with very hot water and vinager. I would also not use any bubble bath and wash her hair just before she gets out of the tub.

My daughter has had a problem there too. I have taken her to the doctor many times and its always something different. She has had a yeast infection, urinary tract infection, kidney infection. It is helpful to lay off the bubble bath because that area is sensitive. Showers are helpful too. Sometimes a second opinion also is helpful. My son 2 at the time had seen 4 doctors for treatment of a ringworm on his bottom, turns out that his skin had an allergic reaction to the antifungal cream and caused the skin to break open. With it beign on his bottom a staff infection set in and bled and blistered. It was a dermatologist at the Arkansas childrens hospital that immedietly recognized it, prescribed a cream and it was gone in 6 days after we battled it for about 8 months.

take her to the doctor...you need to make sure she doesn't have an infection or that someone isn't touching her inappropriately...all the best

there are all kinds of reasons for a discharge. the best thing to do is go to her pediatrician/doctor.
