Does anyone else have a big gap between their children. My son (15) just started the 10th grade and my oldest daughter (4) will start preschool tomorrow. I also have a 22 month old daughter. I find it hard to help my son with homework and entertain the younger children. Any suggestions? Thank, Dedi

Yes I have a almost 14yr old, 12 yr old and 4 yr old. I turn on cartoons but honestly at this age I don't help my kids with homework any longer they are old enough to responsible for it all on there own.

My children only have a few years between them but I feel like my head is spinning sometimes because everyone is pulling me in different directions. I realized I can have some one on one time with my kids. My younger son goes to bed an hour before his older brother. Before my younger son goes to bed I read him a book & we talk for a few minutes while his brother gets his homework done or just relaxes. That way if my older son needs help or wants to talk can focus on him. It's really important since your son is a teenager for you to spend quality time with him. You are his biggest influence & can really steer him onto the right path. I find that keeping my week days on a routine makes it much easier & much smoother.
