Cranberries will help for a urinary tract infection, not so much for a yeast infection. If she has been on antibiotics lately you could bank on it that she probably does have a yeast infection. If not there really isn't any external indicators to tell you that it is a yeast infection...the skin will be red and inflamed if she has been itching...also something else that can happen with girls is they might not get all of the soap out of their vagina when they are taking a bath as well which could cause some itching as well. If she is wiping herself it is possible she is not wiping herself very good...also possible that she is wiping from back to front. I would wipe her down good with a wet wipe and if it persists then take her in and get her checked out.

I don't know why but if you give her cranberry juice or berries, a few every day, her infection will go away, and then she's not exposed to unnecessary drugs. My mum always gave me oranges but their acidity is a bit strong to eat everyday, but cranberries are a bit sweeter and less acidic.

I think it's really hard to tell, my daughter has had an itchy bottom or she says it hurts, I would take her to the doctor to be sure, I know that in the past my doctor has said that things that can cause it is bubble baths so if shes using bubbles I would stop.
