Let him run and play as much as possible. They need activity. Sitting and coloring or watching TV isn't enough. If it is too cold outside maybe putting on music and letting him dance would help. A game of hide and seek is good too.

Is there something that catches his attention? Maybe Spongebob? Are you trying to calm him down for bedtime? Depends on what you are trying to get him to do.
