i had trouble with this one before...
get ground beef, potatoes and carrots. those are the main ingredients.

cook the potatoes and carrots first for about 10 minutes..add the ground beef and keep cooking. You can season the ground beef if you like..once the meat is cooked you can add barbecue sauce (as much or little as you like) so that it can give it flavor..when you add the barbecue sauce do NOT turn off the stove yet. cook it like that for maybe 2 more minutes so that the barbecue sauce can settle into the food..
cook this at medium to low heat...

this has worked wonders with both of my sons..they love it! ( i tried making faces with the veggies in the past and it didn't work...)

oh before i forget you can also make a salad...cook elbow soup, drain the water. put the elbows in a seperate container or if its big enough in that one. add green peas, 1 1/2 medium carrots (diced), 1/2 cup ofcorn..{to make this step easier you can get the can vegetables and add one can} mix it up with about 6 large spoons of mayo and sour cream...(add to pleasure)...you can also replace the elbow soup with 1 lb of imitation crab (imitacion jaiva)...

two schools of thought here!!!!, do you just want to get vegetables into them with or do you want them to consciously eat vegetables. if its a case of getting veg into them then hide it as mentioned before otherwise, let your children choose thier own veg at the supermarket(with your guidance) envolve them with the preperation peeling chopping, into shapes if desired, and cook them simply , introduce the all time favourites first, like corn and corn on the cob, buttered carrots with the tops on-like bugs bunny, sugar snap peas, mashed buttery sweede and carrot. and then you can become more adventurous together adding spinach to pizza and making soupd from veg is great

I eat them in front of her, she still doesn't touch them, but hey, I didn't eat vegetables until I was a teenager and it did me no harm.

I would show that even if you don't care for something you eat it because it's healthy for you and that's what matters. Make it known that you don't like it but you're going to eat it. Even take bits of the food with your little one, make it fun, and be honest tell them that it's hurtful not to eat what you've cooked. Be patient it'll happen.

they're 5 don't give them a choice. At our house the rule is you have to eat your age so if my son doesn't like something he has to have 9 bites because he is now 9 he doesn't always like what I make but he eats what is put in front of him

Have u tried letting her help prepare or cook dinner? My daughter loves to pretend cooking and gets us to taste. She help us cook. She is know 6 so she is not allowed to fry anything. But if it goes in a pot or in the oven she getts to help. She helps with the food prosseser, chopping, peeling, measuring, mixing, and seasoning. When she helps she tells everyone that she cooked and everyone has to eat because she put the "LOVE" into the food. She eats all her veggies. I don't like peas or cooked cabbage but if she helped with it I eat it and I have a smile on my face. She is very proud of herself for cooking and having her mommy eat foods that she will not eat for anyone else. Some veggies that are cooked differently than how we cook at home she will try but if she don't like it I don't make her eat them because I know she will at home.

two ways: 1) focus on the (very few) veggies she does eat (and she doesn't even eat tomatoes) and 2) chop them so fine so she doesn't know they're in the food.

Hide them in the dishes you prepare such as adding in pureed veg to the pasta sauce or find a way that they do like to eat them. My daughter would not eat veg even if her life depended on them and one day when I was cutting up veg for a stew she asked if she could taste them raw. That was it, she was hooked. She will now eat ANY veg in its raw form.

This site has some interesting ways ... it deals with fruit first but then goes on about camouflaging veggies about 1/3 of the page down.
