I would speak with her Dr. and get a speech eval. Also utilize the social service resources her school offers. Most of all You are your childs advocate. P will keep her and you n my prayers

My daughter has just turned 7 but i have known since nursery that there was something not quite right anyhow when it came to being in year1 at school last year i sat down with the teacher and told her that i was concerned as it didn't matter how many times we read together the same book she still struggled with it the teacher felt this as well and got onto the special needs co-ordinater every school has one she then done some work with my daughter and also found it hard my daughter just could'nt retain any information anyhow we had an assesor for reading and writing come into the school and diagnosed her with a poor working memory so now we have to work on that i'm not saying that it is that with you but there is a chance also if you have no joy with her teacher or the special needs teacher then go to the head.

Hi, my daughter is 5yrs old and is also behind some of this is due to hearing but not all down to it. I talked things though with my health vistor who then put me on to speech and language and though them they have been helping. But as she started school last sept I reliesed she wasnt coming on as well as the others so talked to the teachers about it. Doing this the teacher and speech, lauguage have now been talking and know she needs some one on one help in school which she will be getting. I found keeping on at people and pushing alilttle helps its a pain but if you dont they put you to one side.

I really hope you get the help you and your daughter need
