My daughter lost four teeth at the age of five..... and four at the age of six, she's eight now and hasn't lost anymore. My son on the other hand just turned six and hasn't had one loose tooth! I think it just depends on the child....

Kids quite often lose teeth one after the other. then if this happens they will usually have a break in losing teeth for a while and start on another lot. There is no way of predicting how a child will lose their teeth they all do it differently. They just lose them until they have replaced all of their teeth including their two year old molars. their 6 year old , twelve year old and wisdom teeth are all already adult teeth and they will not lose these. The times I have given for these molars are only an average and can sometime come down earlier or later.

My daughter was 6 when she started losing her teeth and I thought that was abnormal. Matter of fact she was one of the only ones in her kindergarten class that had not lost any of her teeth. The reason was that she didn't get her first tooth till she was 1 year old, so the earlier they get their teeth the earlier they lose them.
