There could be a sleep issue that a doctor not a councilor will need to diagnose. There are several types of sleep issues that could cause her to wake up or not go to sleep. You may also want to try using melatonin first. Melatonin is an all natural sleep aid that helps a person to naturally fall asleep and stay asleep. Most of the time it is safe for anyone as long as they are not on any other prescriptions. You could also ask your daughter's doctor if they could recommend a dosage other than what the bottle recommends or if they might want you to try something else. Good luck.
