Try moshi monsters. My daughter loves it. You can create your own monster aswell as playing games that are both educational and fun. You can also set your own password up to ensure safety

I was going to say PBS kids or disney but I see that has been suggested. You could also try Nick Jr they had good stuff. If she likes Barbies or Pollies there are free websites for them and littlest pet shop tool

my son and I still find that games that we like to do together are on nickjr.com...formerly noggin. I find that even through we play them over and over again, I don't even find them boring or annoying, and they have lots of possibilities for art projects that we love to do together.

My kids love starfall.com too! It's a great website. Also,www.firstschoolyears.com has some good activities. My daughter needs to work on her cvc words to pass kinder. I did a search for cvc words and firstschoolyears.com popped up. Pretty cool a lot of downloads and ideas aside of online activities. Depends what you are looking for.

Crayola.com is a good idea if you want to get ideas to do besides just the online games. They have coloring pages and puzzles, and activities to print-out and do. I think they even have an application where you can color a picture by clickingon the the colored crayons. Have fun. I think it's great that you are spending quality time with your child. Don't forget about other things too, though. Like pretend play, and singing. :-)

My kids love Moshi Monsters. It is free, but you can upgrade for more activities. They have a daily set of quizzes that you earn rocks ($$) to buy things for your Moshi house. They may be a little difficult for a 5 year old, but she might enjoy some of it. My kids have learned more about international flags than I ever have by playing Moshi.

www.sproutonline.com This one is cool cuz you can set up email addresses and teach the kids how to do email. Also all the prout and pbs shows have games, printouts and such. They can also watch clips of episodes. My kids learn sign language from this site. Very fun stuff.

My daughter is 5 and absolutely loves pbs.com and the disney website. She also plays on my 10 yr old son's school website.. lots of learning games. Maybe one of your local schools has a site similar. My daughter actually started putting words together many, many months ago and now she is reading! She knows the months of the year, days of the week, alphabet, she's adding numbers, and can "sorta" tell time! She is also bilingual, which has alot to do with my hubby! But, I couldn't be prouder!!! She only turned 5 on Feb 13th! Good luck and happy hunting!

I remember that there was a website that went along with the PBS Kids shows (Dragon Tales, Zaboomafoo, etc...) that had activities and stuff. Try googling "PBS Kids". Good luck!
