My 5 year old grandson just stopped making eye contact when he talks.

He is a very social child and has great verbal skills. This has never been a problem. It just started within the last few weeks.

Is he anxious about anything? Has he any repetitive behavior? I ask this because my son is 8 in nov and being tested for autism as he doesn't give eye contact but this is use 1 of many things he has probs with. Very intelligent but social skills aren't great. I've known he'shad a prob since about 18mths though.

Maybe it's something he will grow out of in time.
