My 7 year old son just started addrall 5 mg once a day, dose it work. I am not sure of the side effects dose is there any opiones about it.

My son is 9 with ADHD. He takes 20 mg which I was told is a standard dose. Call your doc and say the 5 mg doesn't seem to be helping. His behavior may seem worse because you expected to see change with the meds. The advice about eating was good. Give a scoop of peanut butter at bedtime.

I worked the frist day and he back to the same chilid that do not stop i think its giving him more energary i dont know what to do he dose have a lot of crying and he has ansity to go with it any more sugestion out there .

My son was on it from the age of 4 to the age of 10 it worked great only started having problems with it this year at age 11 and the dr. figures it is puberty we switched him to Vyvanse and he is now doing great again. He started at 5 mg and was only at 10 mg at the age of 11. The only side effects we had was a loss of appetite and we just made sure that the school made sure he ate his lunch and we made sure he ate breakfast and dinner.
