My child is 9 years old with moderate hearing loss. She hates her FM unit and other related services. I'm trying to terminate Services and the school makes it very difficult for me. She is a good student, by the way. Any suggestions about HHVI termination ? Anybody else has an issue with FM unit?

Thank you, Mandy. I spoke to her doctor and got important information from him. I also called Advocates for Children and told me about my rights. The school didn't have a chance :)

It doesn't get better. My twelve year old daughter broke her hearing aid so she wouldn't have to wear it. She haws hearing loss in one ear and above normal in other ear. Last thing she took to school came back not working about 2 months ago. Is doing fine in school so I'm waiting on summer. Get a note from your child's ENT or Pedestrian and the school has to follow decors orders. I would hope
