My daughter has a friend who's rude to her own mom, and now i get the same attitude at home, lying, sassing, defiance. Would like some advice on how to handle this.

She's 9, and has been grounded for this before. She has a hard time making friends, so i don't want to cut her off from one of her few friends.

How old? I'd spank the kid or ground her, depending on the age.
