My 4 year old son started to urinate in his closet and pretty much everywhere in his bedroom. It started over a month ago. He has also done it other places as well. We have tried everything from just talking to him to time out. Nothing works. He doesn't say there is anything bothering him so I am not sure how to handle it. Any advice would be great.

My son started doing this when he had an extremely traumatic event happen in his life and he was about 6 years old . Maybe something is going on that your not aware of ... try and find out what the trigger is .

1. Tell the pediatrician and make sure it's documented in your child's file.
2. Schedule a urologist appt. for your child 'incase' it's something more serious.
3. My adopted son did this then told his school psychologist. The school reported it to the state of NJ Division of Youth and Family Services. Now DYFS has now taken us to court, we had to hire a lawyer, all 4 of my children are required by law to under go psychological testing, and all because my ADHD, ODD, High Impulsive formerly drug addicted infant now 9 yrs old chose to show his 'control' over his life by urinating out his bedroom window, on his clothing, floor, and pet rabbit. He also deficated in the cat litterpan because he claims he couldn't make it to the bathroom in time 5 feet away. COVER YOURSELF!
