I have 2 parties coming up and need something different and fun. My daughter is turning 6 and my son is turning 3. Any fun ideas?:

What little girl doesn't like a fairy party - dressing up, making wands, fairy dust (glitter) Princesses? If they're too overdone already perhaps pick a colour or animal (or both) Green frogs, red ladybugs, that sort of thing... My DD2 loved Shrek so that was her 2nd birthday theme. This year she will be 4 and one minute wants a Barbie party and the next it's a (Disney) Princess party LOL
I love www.partygamecentral.com for games ideas.

I've done treasure hunts for both my kids(6&3) b-days. I put poetic clues all over the house and yard. One clue leading to the next until they finally get to the treasure(goody bags or craft project etc.) I lead the crowd but try and let them figure out where to go next until we find everything. It was alot of fun both times.

Quoting Dawn:
are you looking for game ideas or cake ideas??? Some sort of spring theme might be good, you could give each child a small flower pot and then give them some seeds to plant. There's a very easy flower garden cake you can make, I made 1 for my daughter last week and it took no time at all. Depending on when the parties are, you could have an easter egg hunt? goodluck.
Thanks I should of mentioned my daughters in July and my son is in August. Games or any other ideas are welcome I'm at a complete loss.
