I have an 8 year old child who still poo's in her Panties now I don't think this is normal my self but the only excuse I am getting is that she didn't think I would let her go to the bath room. Which is so completely untrue and she knows it. Does anyone else have this problem

I have gone through this with my son, who waits to the last possible second to go to the potty. He has just turned 8 in June and has done way better with this recently. I started telling my son that if he continues to go in his pants what does he do when he goes to school.... Told him that he wont have as many friends if he does that at school. It seems to be helping. Hopefully its just a phase.... Good luck!!
