School Starts Tomorrow! What do you do to make the first day back to school memorable for your kids??

I have a third and sixth grader going back to school tomorrow. We as a family have traditionally walked to school together and taken a picture of them in front of the school sign. Then when they get to class and find there desk, we take a picture of them holding up as many fingers as the grade they are entering. Last I write a note with special treat to put in there lunch box :) What do you do to make the first day of school memorable. I'd love to hear all your fun and creative ideas.

I have one in 1st and 8th grade this year. I make a speical breakfast for them. Drive them to school. The oldest one refuses for me to walk him in. Max the youngest loves it. After school has been in a few weeks I go have lunch with Max. TC says no thank you.....I always buy them new clothes. This year I might not be able to buy them new clothes.

We always get my son new clothes for his first day of school usually he has a new hairstyle as well, I take a picture of him in front of the school and usually let him get a treat at Tim hortons before he gets on the bus to go home.
