Hi, I have been researching Colleges for the past 6 months. I have not come up with any thing that I really like. I know all the Moms are going to say, why is Mom looking and not her Son? He wants a large rah, rah kind of school. My Husband and I feel small to medium would be best for my Son. He is not terribly organized. Is a B student. He is shy with his Teachers and has a difficult time approaching them. My Son can be quite social with friends. He is well liked by his peers. Teachers can become frustrated with him. They complain that he knows the answer and chooses not to participate. This is my reason for wanting small to medium size. We will most likely need a bit of help from the school with transition and organization. We don't want him to fall through the cracks. When paying $50,000. per year plus here are our priorities : Academically strong school for a B student, teachers that are interesting and can teach, safe and happy campus and strong career service department so he can get a job at the end of the day. Have a town or village near bye and of course have fun. My Son thinks he may be interested in Computer Science/Business with a nice English Department. We live in the Northeast. Does anybody have any suggestions for us? Thanks for reading :>
