my daughter started suckling her fingers when she was 4 months old. how do i make her stop coz she gets infected by bacteria. so she ever gets sick

They make this stuff that you can put on your daughters fingers. It taste nasty so it deters her from sucking on ther fingers. I'm not sure what it is called, but I know you can find it at any drug store or wal-mart. My mom used it on my little brother when he was younger to get him to stop sucking his thumb.
