What age do you let your daughters start shaving?

My daughter is 12 and has been nagging me for awhile now , all of her friends are starting to shave as well. I had her roll her pant leg up and I helped her do the first leg and then left her to do the rest! Hard to accept but i think this is a typical age to start worrying about it!

Well i wasn't a particularly hairy girl but when i was 14 after bugging my mum for two years to let me shave like all the other girls at school she booked me in to get them waxed. I had my legs waxed until i was 18 and i have hardly any hair on my legs now, I'm 26 and i can go 3 weeks with out having to shave my legs and no one notices. I've heard the younger and more you shave the thicker and darker the hair..don't know if its true but its something to think about. and waxing doesn't hurt if you start young too.

I would have to say that an appropriate age would be around 10 or when she starts her period. It depends on how hairy her legs are and things of that nature. I didnt start shaving mine till around 11 or 12. Hope this helps you out....
