My husband is an ER nurse and I am so glad that he warned me of the danger of over using the lice shampoo. Use it only one time per wk. It has nerve killing agents that should not be overused. I also learned that putting mayonaise on the hair for 2 hours (No more or less.) suffocates the lice. If you cannot get everything washed in hot water right away, put any bedding, etc. in plastic bags for 2 wks.

viniger, or nix, and when they are gone use a shampoo with tea tree oil at least once a week to keep them gone. You may be able to fine a tea tree oil to get rid of them too. Dont forget to pick out the nits they are hard to see and take forever to find but the more of them you get out the faster they go away.
