Daughter is 13 in 7th grade and comes home several times a week wanting to be homeschooled because of all the drama. What is the deal. I don't remember it being that bad in school. I was a loner when I was in school had a handful of true friends. Daughter has friends but doesn't know the difference between true friend and friend that just wants something.

It is sad! I have to say I blame technology for this mess our teenagers are in. It is so easy to make a mistake as a teenager and in these times that mistake is blurted out on Facebook, Myspace getting to all your so called friends. Every detail of your private life is made public by a click of a few buttons. Everything is far more stressful these days. It is no wonder that a lot of teenagers are being treated for depression.

I dont how you are going to help her through this. All you can do is guide her into more social events which are not full of shallow children picking on each other. Something like Sea Scouts or adventure scouts. Kids that love the big out doors and love having fun.
