maybe you are trying too hard! the stress from trying to concieve can actually cause your body to not work the way it should and hamper your attempts. otherwise go see your OB/GYN they can help figure out any issues you might have
How long have you been trying Diane??? They say that it's best to try for a year, and if at that point you haven't conceived, you may want to talk with your doctor. They can do some blood tests and such to see how your levels are, and test your husband as well and go from there. There are soo many factors! I have infertility issues and until we started treatment, and started really learning things about conceiving, I never realized how amazing it is that we get pregnant at all!!! Keep trying and relax about it. Take folic acid and prenatals as if you were pregnant and watch what you eat. And...don't have TOO much sex! That can actually work against you!

Check the ph of you urine in the morning if your ph is too low (meaning your body is too acidic) you will have trouble. You can buy test strips at your local health food store. You can also visit thephmiracle.com for help becoming more alkaline. I've seen this work for other woman, good luck!

It took me 4 years to conceive again for my third child. after about the second year we gave up trying and it happened naturally....I agree with the others and think that the stress of trying can't help. try not to think about it and it will happen when the time is right. good luck

I agree with Julie, stress is indeed it's own birth control. There'a a lot to be said for the beautiful candlelit dinner... I also agree on following up with the doctor, typically, once a woman has given birth it shouldn't be as difficult to concieve again (at least that's what I've learned from other friends of mine who struggled for the 1st conception). I believe fertility doctors recommend trying conventional ways for the first 6 months to a year, and if no luck, then begin exploring a medical cause. Best of luck to you!
