Hi my name is Melony, I'm new to this community, and to having a gay son. My son who actully is my stepson who I've helped raise since he was 4 (he's now 18) came out in March.. I've always suspected,but wasn't sure. His father and I love him no matter what and have come to love his partner as well. In July they're getting married legally in Iowa afterwards we're having a ceremony in our hometown along with a reception. We're on a limited budget but want to make it nice, would love any advice with protocol or anything else. My own wedding was a very small affair and our tastes aren't exactly the same but I'm trying. Please help!!!!

Thank you. We're coming along finally, getting it all together. It's so different than planning daughter's but trial and error will have to do. lol

Hi my name is Nui and i'm from hawaii. I to have a son that is gay. He's 14 now and has just came out. I wasnt surprised. I know that one day he to will be getting married to his partner. there really is'nt any protocall for weddings like this. It just depends on your sons taste. I know that what ever you do, it will turn out wonderful. I can tell you this though. The right music is a big plus. They love music. Best of luck to you.....
