hi there im a mum of 5 4 teenagers and a 2 year old my kids are 19,17,16,15,2 it sometimes does my head in being mum of teenagers and a toddler but my older children are fantastic with there little brother they love him dearly 4 out of 5 of my children are also special needs children i have a deaf child a adhd child and 2 with intellectual disabilitys and my 2 year is currrently being tested for autism so its hard work i am also a student and studying full time so we have to work as a team and that we do nice to meet you all

Hi Sue, I also am a mum of 5, I have 5 boys they are 12,9,8,7 and the youngest will be 6 in june. A few of my children also have disabiliies, they have ADHD, Learning disabilities and 1 has a hint of autiusm so I know how tough things can be. I also know how rewarding things can be when they make progress just the little things that make a big difference. I just wanted to welcome you to this group, looking forward to getting to know you.

Hi Kate, Silva and Sue! Welcome to the group! Sue--I agree with Kate...WHAT AN AWESOME MAMA!!! Kate--I had to laugh at your "grumpy 14 year old" statement! I have a 14 year old daughter, so I soooooo understand what you're saying!!! It sounds like you also have your hands full! Silka-I also have kids from a previous marriage and kids with my second husband. We had a few issues in the beginning, mostly because my daughter was afraid my husband wanted to replace her dad. Things are much better now (7 years later). How long have you and your husband been married? I'm so glad to see you all on the group. I started this group over a year ago so that we could all help each other, but haven't been on myself for a while because of some health issues. I'm ready to see the group start growing again. We all have issues to deal with that only other moms with teens and preschoolers could understand, and I know it's so nice to vent to someone who's been where I am now! Welcome, welcome!!!

I'm new too! Looks like a lot of people haven't checked in since last year! Well, maybe we can start it up again. I have a 16 year old daughter with Bipolar, a 12 year old son that is by far my easiest child so far, and a 2 year old with my second husband. My biggest challenge is figuring out how to help my husband get along with my older two kids. And having a teen girl with Bipolar is no picnic!

what an awesome mama!! I too have 5 children nearly 17 year old twins, a grumpy 14 yr old and a 17 month old and a 3 month old. But you have some added stresses and ahve chosen to be a student as well. I say good on you.
