tell them to give him a mri thats what we did.we found out my 13 yr old son had a very bad infection on his sinus bone.He got mingraines to he missed almost a month of skool due to them now trying to get him back goin to skool is hard cause he gets them at skool cause of all the noise of the kids.Hope this helps the doctor told us cat scans only see alittle not like a mri.It might scare him but at least u will know if anything else is going on.

I totally understand what you must be feeling but worse the pain he has.. I suffer from migraine since I was a teen and I still pass out that is how bad he pain is my middle daughter was diagnose with migraine since she was 2yrs old doctors didn't had any explanation for her passing out and since migraine runs in the family. she is now 18 yrs old and she still gets bad migraines.. I been told by many doctors that there is nothing beside the medicine and some preventive pills they don't work on everyone..but take him to a neurology ASAP... the passing out is not a common thing... in my family we all suffer from migraine and no one faint except me...Good luck

Thanks, but i already went to a neuroloog with him, they took a CT scan and blood, and the result was oke. He got some medication (inderal), that he probably has to take for the rest off his live. Now he was home from school for almost two weeks and he did not pass out again, but the several attacks off migraine stays. I'm a worried because the exams are coming in two weeks. I hope he can handle that stress.

I would take him to the doctor ASAP,the passing out concerns me,I suffered from migraines for years and never passed out,nor heard of it,I would make an appointment and they will probably order a cat scan and blood work,my 17 year old just had the tests done because hes been having tension headaches alot.Good Luck!
