Hi I am new to posting on this site I hope this gets to where it is going!

My husband is a Geo-Engineer and is on the boats locating sites for the oil rigs and he is gone from 2-6 weeks at a time and all over the world. I used to really hate it but now I am used to him being gone. The hardest part is trying to get my son to understand why Daddy is gone so long. I usually get frustrated with my hubby if he is home too long and vise versa. I'll ask him what jobs are coming up and if he is on it. However, after he is gone a week - I miss him. Its a hard way of life but do-able.

My hubbie is an oilsite geologist. When he takes a job he does not come home until the well is finished. Sometimes that can be weeks. It is frustrating to plan for anything as you never have a set start or end date. It seems everything breaks when he is away. When he is away we all want him to come home and when he is here he seems so out of cinx with all we are doing you almost want him to go back.
