Hey ladies, I am a mother of two boys, aged 2 and 11 mos.. my husband goes out of town A LOT.. I was glad to find this community. Thank God i have wonderful happy kids, they get me through the days i'll tell ya!

cool.. thanks for the responses.. i think my only wish with jamies traveling is that it was scheduled.. its very sparattic right now but all in all hes gone for about half the year maybe more

Hi Laura,
Nice to meet you. I am also a single parent during the week.I have a 2 1/2 and a 7 year old who get me through the days. It gets crazy but at the end it is worth it.

I know exactly how you feel....but I was wondering what to do when they get laid off and are home for a long time? My hubby has been laid off since April and the longer he is home the more stressful things seem to get.

I call myself a single mom during the week too even though I'm happily married. It's crazy and hard sometimes, especially when the worst things happen and he's gone ... but those sweet faces are all you need to get you thru the day :) I've got 3.
