Hi all - I'm also new to the group. My husband is a pilot with Virgin Blue in Australia and he is commuting to Sydney - we have three children - two boys, aged 3 & 2 and a girl aged 4 months. I nearly go insane some days!!!!

Hi! I am also new to the group. We live in Indiana. We have 2 boys, 7 and 9 and trying for another child. My husband is an aerial photography pilot out of Columbus Ohio, who is gone 15-23 days in a row. I love Circle of Moms. I never realized how many women have the same concerns as I do.

Hi Everyone - I am also new to Circle of Moms. My hubby works for ExpressJet and we live just outside of IAH. I have a 16 month old son...and hopefully he's not our last! I enjoy my husbands crazy schedule. It's like dating him all over again since he goes away for 4 days at a time. We never get bored of each other or run out of things to say.

Hello all! I'm new to Circle of Moms and found this community center that I can relate to. My husband is an airline pilot for US Airways Express (Air Wisconsin) and is based out of Norfolk, VA. We just recently moved to Charlotte, NC when our baby girl was just over 2 weeks old so hubby commutes. Our baby girl is almost 4 months old now and growing like a weed. I'm currently a SAHM but hubby wants me to find a job after January.

I'm 24 years old with a four month old son. My husband is a pilot for skywest airlines.. He is gone four days every week, and then on his three days off I work at a care center.. It's hard at times, but I hear it will get easier..

Hi Amy,

I'm new to the group too. My husband is a pilot w/ ExpressJet and he is based out of CLE. He is a commuter so he is gone longer than if we lived by the base. We have our first child on the way and she is due in April.

Hi everyone!
My husband is a chief pilot for Colgan Air - I'm sure you've all heard of it. It's been a very stressful and tough year. Our daughter was born on Sept 23 this year. It has been a tough struggle being a "single mom" during the week while he is off working. We live in Raleigh NC, and he has an apartment in DC while he works at Dulles Mon-Fri.
I was wondering how everyone deals with these struggles? Luckily, I am able to stay at home with our daughter, which helps a lot! I can't imagine what it would be like if I had to also work outside the home.

Hi Amy,

My name is Jody and my husband flys for Southwest Airlines. Currently, we live in New Hampshire, but he commutes to Baltimore. We have one girl 4 1/2 mo. and planning on adding to the family sometime in the near future. Can be stressful when he is away sometimes, but feel fortunate that he is able to come home every few days during the week. I am new to the Circle of Moms and fortunate to find other women who are in similar situations with their spouses away while trying to raise a happy and healthy family. hope to keep in touch.

hello and welcome!!! I LOVE Circle of Moms! My name is Wendy Miller and I have a husband who use to work for USairways Express but now works for a cargo airliner called Kalitta Air Cargo. He is gone anywhere from 2-3 weeks per month which doesnt leave a whole lot of time to be together. We have two children, boy age 6 and a girl age 2 1/2 and I can see their behavior changes each time daddy comes home and goes right back to work. We live in Palm Bay FL for 6 years now. Its not easy feeling like a single parents. My mother and father live in Prattville, AL so i have no family around here but do have alot of friends with children, my husband's side of the family live on the west coast and we dont get to see them except maybe 1-2 times a year. Hi I am new to the group too, my hubby isn't a pilot but does fly everyday, he is law enforcement. We live in texas and have 5 children and one on the way. their ages are 16 boy, 7 girl, 5 boy, 3 girl and 2 boy, and we homeschool all of them, so as you can see I am a very busy person
