My husband works out of state and is gone for weeks at a time. Being the "single mom" isn't what gets to me. Its being the lonely wife that does. I feel guilty knowing he is working so hard to support our family while I am at home enjoying every milestone, every laugh, every cry. What can I do to make the situation easier for me, my son and my husband?

document, document, document.. a digital camera is the best tool invented.. you can take so many pics and videos to capture all the milestones for TJ.. he will enjoy that as well because you put some thought in to take pics & videos for him.. yes, it is not the same as being there in person to experience the milestone, but if they are on picture or video then you will have them forever as well... since you are a stay-at-home mom another idea would be a miniture scrapbook.. something small, something compact that he can take with him on his trips..
i know it is hard.. i work some really long hours and even though i live at home on a daily basis, i feel like Jake is a stay-at-home dad cause i dont do much with the kids.. i have to be at work b4 they can go to daycare, and they have to be picked up from daycare b4 im off work... and when im on nights it is even worse.. i only see the boys for a maximum of 10 minutes a day cause i have to leave right when they are getting home from daycare... but the BEST thing ever is when Jake will email me 5-10 pics and show me what is going on with the boys...
remember if you even need to talk, just let me know.. im here & easily accessible by email, facebook or myspace!!! i love ya girl, hang in there!!!!
