Hi my nmae is Tracey and my husband has been a Truck driver since before we got married 8 years ago. I can feel for you - I only have 2 kids - but it does make it hard - What I have done is set up my life like a single mom and then when hubby does get some time off or some down time then he falls right into our routine - My kids love there dad - and it is hard on my son who is 4 1/2 he loves his daddy so much - right now we are working on him sleeping in his own bed. I know what you mean about feeling like a nanny and a maid and a cook. My husband has the habit of coming in when he gets off the road and start making comments about the house or the food or the kids. Last year I had reached the end of my rope - as I work full time out of the home - I left him with the kids for the full four days that he was off - he had to take them to their activites and cook and clean - it started to be an eye openner for him. But like I said before the biggest thing that has helped me is to act like a single mom and run your routine and then when he is in town he can join in. Let me know if you would like to chat - Tracey
