Hello ladies. I am a mother of 4 and a soon to be truckers wife. My husband graduated trucking school and now has his CDL. He already has a few job offers. I am so worried about what is going to happen when he leaves. How do you get past that feeling?

Hi there! I am a OTR truckers wife. I have 4 kids, ranging from 19-6 years old. I also, work outside the home. My questions are:how do you make time for yourself? and alone time with your husband, when there is so little time together and your children crave time with him?

hello all,my husband says bye on sunday night and hi on friday night. i have realised that i have isolated myself over the years and just live for the weekends,by which time my expectations are too high and my energy too low. Can anyone else relate to this ?!

Hi Melanie, I am new to the group. My husband is also OTR truck driver. We have 5 kids 11, 10, 9, 8, & 6. There have been times we didn't see him for 6-8 wks. I don't like being a married single mom but with things the way they are now, it wouldn't pay for him to come off the road. We are trying to fix that though. Along with raising the kids alone, I am a full-time student. Our goal is for me to graduate and get a good job so he can come off the road. Shoot me a note anytime you want to talk.

I'm a mother of 2 young children 3 and 18 months. My b/f and their father have been together for 4 1/2 years. He is an OTR truck driver also. We have been having a rough time lately because of the way he has been running and not making time for home. But he also has 3 other children he has to pay childsupport for, so he trys to make sure he makes enough for childsupport but doesn't try to make the time for our family here. Its a rough life to live being home with the kids and doing it on your own pretty much. I'm with you lady's!
