Even after 20 years and about 5 wedding bands, no he doesn't wear it anymore. My hubby is a mechanic/truck driver, and with the work he does the rings either get ruined or lost. So I stopped spending the money on his rings. I on the other hand wear mine every day. I feel lost and very naked without it.

He has never wore his ring on a regular basis. He is a welder and can not wear it at work. He messes with things when he is bored and is liable to lose it if he did wear it.

My husband wears his when he isnt working. When he comes home for the day he puts it back on. I like when he wears it but I dont feel insecure when he doesnt because I know he talks about me non stop.

yes, but his isnt the origanal. his was lost at work years ago. he dug through a 50 gallon barrell of grease looking for it and ruined everything he was wearing that night trying to find it with no luck. he went without for probaly about a year till i asked him to get one for my birthday. he didnt want that to be my present because it wasnt for me. but i told him it WAS for me, i loved having that symbol for the world to see that he is mine. it made him cry, actualy cry. i got what i wanted that year, and it hasnt left his finger since.

We've only been married a year and a half but the only time he takes it off is when he's working with something really goopy (he's a cook) but even then he wears it on a chain around his neck. He likes to show off to people that we're together,I think its cute.

My husband and I have been married for 14 yrs.and he was given my grandfather's ring when we got married and he loved it, until one day he had noticed it was not on his finger anymore. He looked and looked all around he'd been that day at work(on a golf course) and he couldn't find it anywhere. He was devestated to say the least. Then we soon after got him another one, and a co-worker almost lost his ring finger at work when it got pinched between some machinery and a tree. So since then he doesn't where it unless we're out together or family functions. He teases me and says he gonna be married today since he's with me...but it makes me smile that he stills thinks about it all the time. He's an amazing husband, he cleans, he cooks, he does laundry(folding too), he vaccuum's, he dusts, takes out trash, he also took our 13 yr old daughter shopping...twice! and I know you must think I don't do anything.....we both do! We both work and he's just home everyday before me. I just had to brag on that part alot, cuz he's the best thing (other than our daughter) that has been loving and caring in my life. And we tell each other "i love you" as much as we can. We hug and kiss in front of her to let her know that we care for each other and she can have that too with her husband when the time comes. And let me tell you ladies....he's never laid a mean hand on me, or called me ugly names, and he hates to argue! What better husband is there I ask?

He never takes it off. Used to work spraying elastomer, and his boss suggested he take it off for safety reasons, but he didn't haha. Refuses. Leigh, why don't you wear yours?

We have been together for 13 years and he still proudly wears it. When we were choosing rings, I let him pick out his rather than getting coordinating ones. He liked an Aztec band in sterling silver (of course I needed gold and diamonds) that had a Lizard which is my nickname. It doesnt look like a traditional ring but it still serves as a symbol of his love for me.

My husband, does where his ring when he can, he can't wear it at work, he is on his second ring, his first one had to be cut off when he had to have emergency surgery on his hand. He keeps the cut one in his wallet and there is a ring shape on the leather of his wallet where the ring is but he wears his new ring when ever he is home, or we go out and stuff like that.

My husband and I got married when we were 19, and this March we will be married for 25 years. He has always worn his ring. For our 18th Anniversary, he gave me an "upgrade ring" which is beautiful. However, he still wears his original ring and doesn't want it change.

as i can see it, when he's with me he still wears it, i just don't know if he still does when he's with friends for night outs. :)

i don't mind if he sometimes feel not to wear it, as long as he's loyal to the vows we made when we got married..

Hello I am new. My name is Kelly, my husband's name is Matt, we've been married almost 21 years and we both wear our rings every day. He says it represents how proud he is that he's mine and only mine. This is his second ring. When we were only married abour four months, we were out in Hawaii because he was stationed there for the Navy, we were on the beach with our son, Matt was out in the water and the ring was trying to slip off. he gave it to our three year old to bring to me and our son dropped it in the sand. He searched and searched for that ring, he was devastated. So as soon as we could afford it we went out and got him another ring and he never ever takes it off no matter what. Even when we've been through some very rough patches in our marriage he never once took it off.

Yes my husband still wears his ring after 7 1/2 yrs. My husband told me that his ring will never come off by him. If I got to the point and wanted to end or marriage that all I would have to do is remove the ring from his finger my self. It was the same thing his dad said to his mom and they have been married for 27yrs. I though that was so sweet and even after hurting his finger at work and they made him take it off to heal...he said at least my hands are tan you can still see the white area where my ring was.

My husband and I wear our bands all the time...I wore mine on a chain around my neck when I was pregnant and my fingers were swollen and he did the same when he dropped a stone slab on his hand while doing some yard work and his finger blew up...we are proud of being married to each other, we adore each other and feel naked without our bands...

My husband never takes his off unless he has to for work. Then he puts it on his chain and wears it around his neck. He says without it he feels naked so when it is on his chain he says I am close to his heart. He always wants me to make sure I wear mine as well.

My hubby and I are married for 19 years now, and he says that he's worn his ring for so long that he feels he's incomplete when he's not wearing his wedding ring. There was a time though when he used to work at the airlines that he had to take his ring off when he's working with fuel.

No, he works on tractors and equipment and has bent it while wearing it. He used to work at a factory that did not want him to wear it due to safety issues. He took it all and now carries it on his keyring. I just don't want him to risk losing a finger or worse just because of a ring. I know he loves me without having a ring on his finger.

Well ladies. I have to say that nope my husband doesn't wear a wedding ring, never has. He doesn't care for jewelry of any kind. But let me tell you that even without it he is wonderful and EVERYONE knows he is married. He talks about us to everyone.. it is really funny when he will say my wife this or my wife that.

Yes my husband does wear his wedding ring. We will be married 30 years in Dec. He only takes it off if he is Painting something outside.

I on the other hand have had to take mine off on 3 separate occasions. When I was pregnant for both of our daughters. They are 25 and 21. Because single motherhood was not as accepted as it is today I went to our Meijer Store ( Like Wal Mart) and bought cheap wedding bands. The turned my finger green but at least I did not have to get it cut off because my hands swelled so much. the last time was because I was having surgery on my right shoulder and had to take it off. It is back on NOW I feel naked with out it.

Yes, my husband still wears his wedding ring, from the time he gets up in the morning to the time when he gets into bed, every day. If I have been caught without my wedding band (which is not often), I'm sure to be reminded to have it on my finger. He believes it is a sign of our love for each other and it makes him feel good being a devoted husband and a father.

My husband wears his wedding ring, and it was getting too small. It started to squeeze his finger, but he won't take it off until we could get him another. But that's just the man he is, he says he is proud to be married.

[deleted account]

My husband gets really upset when he has to send off his ring to be sized or cleaned. He hates not having it on :)
