I gave birth through C-Section last Jan28, 2010. Now, my incision is hurting and I am bleeding. What should I do? Should I wait for my next doctor's appointment or schedule one right away?

When I had my first menstruation after my c-section the incision hurt quite a bit (I actually had to wear sweats and skirts that didn't put pressure on it). If your bleeding is similar to your menstruation cycle then I would just monitor it and if things change then call your doctor.
Now if you are still bleeding (as it had never stopped after the birth) then your way over due for a visit and I would call right away.

Bleeding where? In the incision site? Go to the doctor at once!
Maybe there's a problem with the suturing or whatever. Be careful.....

Schedule an appointment straight away. Bleeding and pain like that after 5 months is not normal. Do not delay!

I can tell you from experience that you need to call your doc ASAP. I was bleeding 8 weeks after c-section and when I had an ultrasound done they found out the doc that delivered me left placenta in my uterus and I had to have a dnc 4 days later. When you say your incision hurts, it will be tender for a long time but if there is more pain then normal you need to speak to the doc about that. Good luck to you.

i would schedule one right away, doesnt sound normal to me i had both of mine c-section and didnt bleed very long at all good luck and best wishes
