Do you watch you children's cartoons ?

My tv is always on nickolodean or a kid movie but my son is almost 3 and likes shows for older kids to like I Carly,Big Time Rush, movies like, transformers,twilight stuff like that lol

You mean the Disney movies aren't for me??? Just kidding! My hubby and I have 4 kids who range in ages from 8 months to 12 years. I believe we need to watch any shows they do to make sure the content is appropriate for them. So, we watch everything from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse to Sesame Street, to ICarly. If we see something that they shouldn't be exposed to, that show is not allowed in our house. I don't know if they show it anymore, but Ed, Edd, and Eddy was banned several years ago!

When my kids were younger, we watched cartoons with them, but I also made it a point to have have educational videos for them to watch.

We alway keep the tv on some kind of cartoon channel... so when the boys want to sit and watch after they are done playing or running around it is on... we love Phineas and Ferb, thats our favorite... and they like dora, and diego... I love whatever cartoon is on... lol

Yes my husband and I watch shows with our daughter. Drake and Josh, Shake It Up i Carly. She is 10 that's why these shows:) They are funny.

I didn't introduce my son to any tv show/ movie that I couldn't tolerate lol. Needless to say we watch "classics" like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (and other musicals), Disney cartoon movies (Beauty and the Beast etc.), and Thomas and Bob the Builder and Veggie Tales and Little Einsteins(

I used to love cartoons... but the ones that have been coming out lately horrify me (one being Phineas and Ferb after an ad that I saw that was openly talking about sex). They are extremely inappropriate and are not for young children (12 and under). Nick finally came out with a new show TUFF Puppy that reminds me of the old shows I used to watch as a kid.

like someone said above, my DD only gets limited time in front of the tv. but what she does watch I or my husband watch with her...in the mornings we watch MM clubhouse. OSO. then it's no tv until daddy gets home and they watch Phineas & Ferb and I don't know what else(their time)...then its tv off again until Dora/Diago before bed...although I can not stand Dora, I don't mind Diago and I know every episode and song by heart...lol

I would say it depends on what cartoons it is.. My son is 6½ and the only one watching TV of the 2. He loves when we sit and watch shows with him. Jackson, my husband sees all the really boy stuff like Batman, Spiderman etc and I enjoy seeing cartoons that are a little more gender neutral or with "real" people :)

My husband and i Finally decided to watch some of the cartoons our 3 and 4 yr old watch, like spongebob and Phin and Ferb and all the nick and disney cartoons and we were actually shocked at the language used......our 4 yr old started calling us stupid and telling us he hated us. Good luck Girly. Its always nice to spend that time together.

YES!!! I also watch their movies...and I still do, every now and then. It's my time with them. Now that they're teens, they're pretty much on their own, with their own friends, so when they ask me if I want to see a movie, I tell them yes, and they put on a movie for me, and we all watch a movie together, popcorn and all.

I love watching cartoons!! lol My girls like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, and Special Agent Oso. When I watch cartoons on my own I watch the Boomerang Channel. I love all the old cartoons like Smurfs, the Snorks, Flinstones, etc.

I love spending family time with my husband and the girls.

My husband and i watch cartoons with our 2yr old. He loves Barney, Dora, and Toy Story. We know them so well that we sing the barney songs to him and he loves it. Sometimes he leaves the tv to do something else and i carry on watching.

In our house there is a rule on tv. No spongebob. We have 4 kids. So they each get to chooose a half hour show to watch. we all watch them together. So it is usally Phineas and Ferb, Hannah, HAndy MAnny and OSO. They get a total of 2 hours of tv. And that is it. We watch them together and lucky for us it spread out during the day. So the kids still get to do other activities and not infront of the tv all day long. But I would have to say Phineas and Ferb is my favorite.

All the time. Nick Jr stays on all morning. Yo Gabba Gabba and Jack's big music show are two of my son's favorites. I know all the songs and dance moves by heart. People think I'm nuts but my son loves it so I guess that's all that matters. :)

Of course it is fun to sit with our son and watch cartoons. Since there don't seem to be saturday morning cartoons like when we were kids we record our favorites on Friday and watch it saturday as a family. Pj's and cereal all around. Time for star wars the clone wars!

i love Phineas and Ferb (sometimes i watch it when they arent home...lol) I watch cartoons with them most of the day, i dont mind it, they dont fight with each other as much and it just gives me a little more peace in the house... however they know after supper there are no more cartoons in the livingroom, if they still wanna watch them then they have to go to their room... mamma needs to clean and de-cartoon a little before i go to bed myself...i just love having the dreams where i married Ed Edd and Eddie (dont ask such a weird one i cant even explain)...lol

yes, me and my partner watch our daughters cartoons with her, and even when they aernt on find ourselves singing the songs from them.. our daughter loves it.
