Lets share how we met our wonderful husbands.

I am Deborah, I met my wonderful husband at my place of work. Peter and I had worked in the same company for years without noticing each other. After like 5yrs, he came and proposed to me and my answer was YES. We wedded July 4th, 2008 and we are happily married with a 1yr old boy. Glory to God.

I met my wonderful husband at work also. We both worked at McDonald's and at first I wasn't attracted to him at all. Then we starting hanging out and became friends. I told him I just wanted to be friends, but he wouldn't give up on me. Eventually we ended up dating and now we're married. It's great. I love him more then ever!

I was friends with my husbands oldest brother in high school. I didn't even know him really. I was working one night and he came in. He told me who he was. And i didn't know. He came in everynight. Then one night asked me on a date. I told him no. I was getting over a long relationship that just ended. He didn't give up. Months he would come in. And always say something about what I did when I was younger. He told me he had a crush on me way back when. Then one day he came in and asked me again for a date. I Told him yes and we went hiking. It was a wait for him but we now have a wonderful family and he loves to tell ppl how I make him wait for everything and it started the first time he saw me after so many years.

I met my husband in elementary. I was in first grade and he was in second. We dated in elementary, and then before i entered third grade i moved three hours away to aledo. We had pretty much no contact what so ever for six years. Then my freshman year we moved back to Novice. At the start of highschool we had a thing for eachother but neither one of us pursued it. We ended up dating other people and did not actually get together until i was a junior and he a senior. But right before he graduated we had a big fight, largely due to me being immature and saying wrong things in my anger, and we split up. He went off to college and i finished my senior year. A week after I graduated in 2007 we met back up and have been together ever since. neither one of us every asked the other out, we just knew when we saw eachother again that it was it. The same thing happened when it came to us getting married. He never actually popped the question, one day we were both sitting there and we both started talking about our wedding and started making plans. Which got postponed when we found out on april fools 2008 of all days that i was pregnant with twin girls. it took two years for everything to settle down, get back in order, and for us to continue our marriage plans. On April 17th 2010 we were married, and life could not be better. I stay at home with the girls during the day and am about to start online college courses, while he works and comes home every evening. Where we spend it as a family, playing games and watching movies together. I could not ask for a better husband or life.

I met my husband at Job Corps ironically enough the boyfriend I had at the time introduced us to bad for him. I was taken aback when I first saw him seriously time stopped. Now understand I am normally a very talkative person I don't get embarrassed or anything I talk non stop but when I saw Matt I was speechless. I think I mumbled something like hi and you have nice hair and then I ran like my pants were on fire.I was completely gone on him, I can't even explain it and no I didn't know then that we would end up together in fact in the coming months he asked me out and the first time I said no for some reason something told me it wasn't the right time the second time a couple months later I said yes and that night he asked if he could kiss me and holy mother of whatever you want to say. I'm sure ya'll have heard of fireworks going off? Bombs went off I felt like I was standing under a nuclear bomb I even did the little leg kick thing not purposely. that was Dec 19,2000 we have been together ever since married for 6 years September 20th. We have a beautiful little girl who is 5 years old.

Love him as much as I did the day I married him and he loves me this as much. I was luck I found my soul mate. The one thing we do is say I love you every morning and every night even if we are mad at each other, I think that is very important you never know something bad could happen and I want my husband and children to be able to say the last thing my mom or wife said to me is I LOVE YOU. not what ever we are disagreeing about

You have a wonderful husband even if you two are in different worlds right now he is still a part of you and your son and he always will be, you will keep his memory alive with the great stories you have of your love I know its a sensitive subject but we are all here for you this is a wonderful group and you help make it that! Please never think you need to leave.

My husband and I were neighbors he lived down the street I was in the same grade as his brother (9th) when they moved in, I would walk with his brother to the bus and I would always bring up his brother trying to give some hint that I liked him. I would go walking to my friends who lived past their house and would hear someone whisling out the window finally one day I was walking my husband was outside he was shy at that time I wasn't and I went up and said hi and that was that..

I met my hubby when I was 15 y.o., he was 18y.o.,,. He went and asked my Daddy for my hand in marriage, and was told" Boy, she's only 15 y.o., if you two are together when she graduates, you'll have my blessing. Well, needless to say, I was "made " to break up with him, he had long hair at the time and my Daddy just didn't "trust" him.
He lived in Ohio and I lived in Ky. ,so it just didn't work out.
We both went on to marry other people, me twice and my hubby five times, so about a yr. after I divorced my second husband, we ran into each other again after 27 yrs., starting dating, didn't waste any time to get married, just went to the court house and was married, my daugter was one of our witnesses, and she cried thru the whole time, she said that it was a "cindrella" story and was so happy for us.
We have been married for 9 yrs. now, and are praying that we can make up for the 27 yrs. that we had lost, it is a dream come true for the both of us. Between the two of us, we have 4 children and 6 grand children with one on the way. We feel that we were destined to be together.

We both work at a Casino. I was workin' an Anthony Cools show, it had just finished up. So bein' the bubbly waitress I was, I was runnin' around in the employee hallway. I ran passed this new guard in a white shirt bein' told what to do at the Backstage door, and I giggled. I happened to walk by it again and I went, "Ha! You know you are stuck there, right? They aren't comin' out until early mornin'. " He just smiled and blushed a little bit. I happened to run into my older sister, so here I go down the hall again. So, I picked on him more. This went on a few times, runnin' back and forth with various friends then I saw him again... a week later. We said a couple words, then again a week later we talked more. This time he picked on me.... then a week later... I go "Hey, you seem nice and like you like to listen... well I like to talk... here's my number." He didn't call me all weekend. And when he did, I answered... "Hello?" "Hi, Jessica".... "Um... Hello." "This is Davin" "Who?" "Security Guard" "Oh, I gotcha... didn't know your number, I was confused." After that we have been together all the time. :D

i'm not really sure why i'm posting, since my wonderful husband is a rather sensitive subject these days. i joined this group a while back, when i was pregnant, and haven't been around for a looooong time, but then this message was in my inbox today and i decided to post.

my husband and i met in college, through a mutual friend on the first day of class. later that day, in another class, i thought he looked kind of familiar but couldn't place him. we started dating within a couple of weeks (february 2002), and were married a little over five years later (june 2007). we had 8 years together, total, a little under three years married. my wonderful husband passed away last february, when i was 32 weeks pregnant with our first and only child, our son.

i think i'll be leaving the group now.

We met in high school. I had a serious crush on him. We didn't date till he was out and I was a junior. We parted ways for a while after I was out of school, but our paths crossed again two years later and we married in 1983. Two grown kids and a granddaughter later, we're happier than we could have expected. We give God the credit as it takes the Grace of God to get to this point (both parties must be on the same page, however.) We both know that God brought us together and we're grateful.

My hubby and I met on My Space, and we live in the same small town. I was teasing him in emails, saying I could see his house from mine, and I found out that I really could see his roof from my kitchen window. We finally set a date to meet in person, and he calls me the night before from the hospital. He had been in a motorcycle accident. We met a few days later, realizing we had seen each other in the grocery store and smiled at one another. He helped me move shortly after we met, and then 12 days later I was in an accident at work ( an SUV went thru the front window at work and pinned me). We found out a week later that it was the same woman, in the same vehicle, that hit the both of us. We were married in October 2007. Best man ever!!!!

We had a mutual friend that I talked to to make sure he was legitimate before we met face to face. Once we did meet, it was love at first sight (yes I believe in it!) We met in the days before computer dating. I lived in Tooele, UT, and had just gone through a divorce. I just wanted people to talk with, so I signed up with "Dial-a-Date Mate", which was a telephone dating site. You just called and left a message about yourself, much like a voice mail, including your phone number. Then you got calls from people who took time to listen to ALL the messages, and there were a lot. I got some pretty crazy calls, and some nice ones.

Then my message expired. A few weeks later my message was re-run for some reason, and my future hubby listened to the message, and called me. We talked for HOURS. That was in April 1987. We talked several times over the next few days, then he came out from Salt Lake City to meet me and my 8 children. Yes...8 children. He had 4. We liked each other immediately, and we got married June 5. Yup, two months later. We've been married 23 years. Some times have been good, some difficult. We had one more child together, so we have 13 children, and now 19 grandchildren. It has been a great adventure!

Fourty three years ago, I was a student nurse in a small Ontario Institution of the Mentally Ill. I was asked to go on a blind date with one of the other students. I wasn't going home that weekend so decided to go out on the date. We went to the movies and it was fun. The next afternoon he called again and we went out again with the same young man but a different girl. Long story short, in 1970 we were married in Ajax, Ontario, Canada,. We moved to Oshawa in 1973. Had a baby girl,in 1975 and a baby boy in 1976. Both have grown up to be really something that a mother can be proud of, I now have five grandchildren, one who is twenty (our Step-grandchild) two boy who are six, a little girl who is 5 and another girl who is 4. My wonderful husband even suggested that we renew our vows in 1995! What a party, a wedding reception with friends and family, and a going away party for our son and his then girlfriend(now wife) to go to University in Thunder Bay. I am now retired and look after our grandchildren while their parents work. I am now so busy that he says he has to make an appointment to see me. But when we do it is wonderful.

My husband's sister invited me and my two younger kids to Mississippi for their niece's graduation. We were going to stay at the house where her two brothers lived. I had heard a lot about her brother and their younger brother had told him that I would be perfect for him because we were so much alike. When I pulled up outside their house and I met him the first time he said it was love at first sight and that he knew I was the one. It was 2 days later that I realized we were meant to be together. My kids and I returned home to Chicago after the long weekend. After that, we talked every day on the phone. We never missed a day. So we met in May, he came up to visit in July and he asked me to marry him, he moved up to Illinois in August, and we got married in September, all in 2005. We knew that God had brought us together because we had both been through very bad relationships. We are so comfortable with each other that our marriage gets better every day. God is truly good!

I met my wonderful hubby in highschool. He was actually dating one of my best friends. We went on a school field trip to Springfield IL and became closer friends. Talking led to a good night kiss and a few other kisses in high school. But it never went further than that due to both having a bf/gf. We didn't date while we were in highschool but really wanted to. But we couldnt just break up with the other people. I went off to college, had something bad happen and came back home. It was the darkest days of my life, and looked like crap but he didnt care. Just seen me as the same girl from highschool that he had a huge crush on. The first night I was back we met at Dairy Queen and both were single. (My ex boyfriend of four years had broken up w me a few months before and hubby didnt go to the blind date he was set up with) so we went for a car ride that ended up in his driveway and we set and talked like old friends til the sun come up and my car battery died. A few months later he proposed and we were married Oct 29th 2009 and have a wonderful little boy.

Steven broke up with me. I had no idea any of this was going on and when Bill called to "see how I was doing" I agreed to grab dinner with him. The rest is history we have been together ever since! I didn't find out about the things he told Steven until we were married four years later! LOL

What lovely stories! I met my husband on a blind date on 22nd September 2002. I din't know at the time but he didn't know I was coming - he was painfully shy but the most lovely kind caring and frankly, down right, sexy guy I have ever met! You could say that the earth moved for us last night as there was an earthquake near where we live! Most unusual as I can't ever remember hearing of another one there! Anyway, I got bored of waiting for him to propose so I took him to Blackpool on new years eve 2003/04, booked a posh hotel & popped the question at midnight - he said yes! Girl power!! We got married in Santorini, Greece on the 5th anniversary of when we met Sat, 22nd September 2007 - arriving at the ceremony on donkeys which was the most fun I ever had at a wedding! Still madly in love almost 8 years since we met & have a beautiful 17month old called Madisyn. The strange thing was my parents also met on a blind date & had there wedding reception in the same place although I didn't know until I had booked it! Spooky! But a good luck charm - my parents have been married for 31years now and are still happy!

Just need a nice girl for my brother now!

I am Amy. I met wonderful husband in college. He first turned up as the annoying baritone player sitting behind me (French horn) in band - always picking on me - and then the next period there he was in choir. Of course after picking on each other for most of the year - we went on our first date with 2 weeks of school left. That was 1985 - we have been happily married for 23 years and have 3 beautiful boys.
