I met my Husband at Christian Night Roller Skating and after the 3rd time of seeing him there we went on our first date- a movie, we dated for 2 years and then got engaged- we were engaged for 1 year before getting married. Waited 10 years before we had our one and only Daughter and been married for 20 years this April.

I knew my husband for a month before our first date. We bought a house together after 4 months of dating. Well with my Husband and I it was love at first sight. We started dating right after I met him that first time at the rollerskating rink. We dated for 7 months before a Promise ring and then dated for another year for an engagement ring and then a year later we got married. 3 years total we dated. We have been married for 20 years.

I first met my husband about a year before we started seeing each other and I was dating someone else at the time. I was single when he came to visit my housemate who was a good friend of his. At the time we lived in different cities - about 10hrs drive away from each other. I was 22 and neither of us wanted to have a long distance relationship so we agreed it was just a fling, when he went home it would be over.



Two months later he came back to visit his family for Christmas and we admitted we couldn’t forget about each other, so we would try a casual long distance thing. If we met someone else local no hard feelings but we would be honest with each other if we did.



12 months later I moved to be with him. 12 months on from that we were engaged. However it took us another 7 years to get married. It didn’t feel important until we started talking about having children. We have been together 12 years now and have just celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary.



But it barely feels like anytime. He is my best friend, and our relationship is built on trust and honesty.

I knew my husband for about 1 week. You know that feeling that you get in the bottom of your stomach, the "butterflies" if you will? I got that when I met him; when I saw him for the first time. I took the initiative and introduced myself, without breaking his feirce concentration he said "hello". Oh! My butterflies fluttered like those in a lush Spring garden. He was playing Nintindo 64's Street Fighter and intent on pulling off Ryu's round house kick for his finishing move. Anyways, after that we "dated" for 3 months, then his roommate got them kicked out of their apartment, so he had to move to WV. I asked if I could come to. If he wanted to call it off and just in it for the booty, he would have made up some excuse... but he said "sure, if you want too." So, after 3 months of knowing him I moved from FL to WV (with the mindset of living the rest of my life with him). 3 years later, we get married and have our first child. Exactly 12 months and 6 days later, our second child was born. Been together for 11 years, married for 8. What a ride it's been :O) I have a yearly pass, I'm BLESSED, and it's WONDERFUL!

we met on yahoo personals. we dated about a year were engaged about a year(we both were stationed in Germany) had to find a translator and he was in PLDC in that time frame. We have been married for almost 10 year(anniversary is in june). All together we have been together about 12 years. With all his deployments and my having to go on emergency leave and going tothe field we really dated/saw each for less than a year but we talked and texted all the time.

OK - we met via the Internet and about 1½ weeks after getting to know each other online (plus phone calls) we met in person and hit it off immediately and started dating.

After a courtship of about 2 years, 2 months, I moved into his home and we lived together. After living together 6 months, we got engaged. We were engaged 10½ months when we married.
