I have been married to my husband over 3 years now and he is still my best friend ever. I'm curious to see how many people on this site have been married for many years or is it a newly-wed feeling. :)

My husband and I have known each other since high school, about 6 years ago, and have been married for 3 years this May. Our relationship has its "bumps" but everything makes us a little bit stronger for our family and our son!

i have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 13 yrs. he & I sing/play guitar together (both at & away from church) .....we fall in love over and over again. Through toils and trials (incl. raising 2 out of 3 kids w/ problems...(autism & NLD)). Our faith and strength in God and one another continue to bless our lives indiv. and together

My wonderful hubby and I have been married less than a year and together for just a little over a year. We have a 6 week old son that turned out to be the greatest blessing for us both! But I feel so lucky to have found my husband. I was 35 when we got married and he was 28. :) I always tell everyone I didn't rob the cradle - he robbed the nursing home! :)

My wonderful husband and I just celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary. Our relationship has been through so many phases... I can't stand the thought of missing out on this phase if we had given up during the trials and split up. We honored our commitment through all the hard times and by the grace of God, we are still together, still in love and enjoy one another more than ever. This is the reward of remaining faithful, staying in the ring, if you will, and giving it your all. It's an amazing feeling to look at one another and know what we've accomplished, what we've been through together, and that we couldn't be more in love than we are today...

My husband and I have been together going on 5 years. We met in May, got engaged in July, he moved up to Illinois from Mississippi in August and we got married in September. It was love at first sight for both of us. We had both been in bad relationships a while back before we met so being with each other is a joy. He's my best friend and the love of my life. God is good!!

I have been married to my husband for 12 years. We have been together for 19 years though. I love him very much! He is absolutely my best friend. I tell him pretty much everything. I know that I can trust him with anything. It's awesome! Obviously, there are times when we have our disagreements and we continuously go through a cycle where he doesn't help out around the house unless I ask him to and he makes less money than I do, so that has been a soar subject for quite some time. But, even with those challenges, I can honestly say that I love him as a man, as a husband and as a wonderful father to our 3 daughters.

It definitely takes work, but if it didn't would it really be worth it? I see it as a challenge and I want to take on that challenge and make it successful!

Good luck to you and your husband and always remember to keep things honest and communicate often!

Chris and I have been married 13 years and so far we have not had one fight, a bit of bickering sometimes but never any negative or harsh words said between us. When we came together it united two families which have become as one :) We now have 6 children between us, and 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild !!!! So life for us in spite of a few setbacks - has been fantastic. We were literally a match made in heaven ( thanks mom ) and since we came together we have many dreams come true that we have shared. This is my husband http://good-times.webshots.com/slideshow...

I have been married to my husband for 14 years. We have had our fair share of ups and downs, but when I look at him, I see my best friend, my soul mate. I feel as if the past 14 years have flown by and I just married him yesterday. This man is my heart and soul and without him I am lost wandering in this world searching for...him. The feeling hasn't gone away yet and I don't suspect that it will because he is everything to me.

My husband and I have been married for 35 wonderful years. We met in college and today we have two great children, two grandchildren, and another on the way. He is still my best friend and the one I want to talk every thing over with. He still tells me how much he loves me all the time and tries to give me everything I want. I can honestly say we never go to bed mad or for that matter even get mad at each other for longer than 5 minutes. We can not imagine ever being without each other.

I've been with my hubby since 1993, so 17 years in and I am still crazy about him. We are best friends and don't have the perfect relationship but are definately in love and willing to make it work one way or another. We have 4 kids so it gets crazy at times but we make it a point to do things just the 2 of us as often as we can. We still go dancing, to a bar for a drink, to comedy shows, concerts... or even just set aside a day at our house where we light candles and have a nice romantic dinner just the 2 of us. We still have a blast with each other. 3 things are crucial, committment, communication and RESPECT. Its worked for us! :)

My husband Nick and I have been married for 13 years (this July) and together for 15. He saved me in every way a person could be saved. I was in an abusive relationship and felt no real self worth except for my kids (3). He showed me love, understanding, support and true friendship. He has raised my 3 children as his own and we have a son together. He is a generous, loving and supportive Dad. Our children love and respect more than anything. He is my rock. Loving, sexy and so giving of himself. I am truly blessed to have him and I make sure to tell him every chance I get how much he means to me, how much I appreciate him and how much I love him. He's my everything!

We will be married 23 years in June - We are more in love today than the day we married (if that's possible)! My best friend and soul mate ;) He is very romantic - sends me flowers for no reason, get's me cards for whatever reason, opens the car door, etc... We met in 2nd grade - he says he knew then that we would marry!

Sarah I've been married for 27+ years and still in love with my prince. Communication and Trust are the 2 main ingredients to having a successful marriage. They say the first 5 yrs are the toughest...I believe the first 20 yrs are the toughest. Keep things alive with variety and spur of the moment fun things to do. It isnt all about what happens in the bedroom as much as it is what happens BEFORE you go to the bedroom. It's all about the little things in life that credit a marriage to being happy healthy and lifelong endearments.

My husband and I are College Sweethearts, we have been happily married for 17 years. We have 3 beautiful daughters. He is the best husband, and dad ever. He works a lot, so I can stay home with our girls. And when he is home, he helps me out, and spends all his time with us. We are truly blessed to have him in our lives, and each day I love him more, and more for being such a caring family man. Just Adore him, and look foward to spending the rest of my life with him =)

I have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 8 years. I wouldn't trade him for the world. We've been through 3 miscarriages and the death of a daughter shortly after birth within the first 5 years of marriage. We're still going strong though with two little boys. More in love now then we were then.
