Hey girl, my husband will be thirty on December 15th I am running into the same problem . I want to surprise him for his birthday but have our boys there then have my mom take them. but do not want to go overboard on the finaces .

i think romantic dinner for two?flowers with a note how u really appreciate him?make a day use in a hotel?leave clues in your house to know his present as a sort of game? u can also buy him a shirt print on it beautiful love words with your picture?

What does he want to do the most? Does he like to hang glide? Lessons in sky jumping or parachute? Guitar Hero, the video game? Some quality time in a resort tucked away in the hills for a weekend? Dinner date for two? Movie date for two? Leave clues in your house and be the present? Lol

hi ladies my wonderful husband will be 30 next month i would like to plan a nice surprise for him.we r staying in dubai withour only child so i need to make something nice and different to him .he is not only my usband he is the the first man in my life he is my love life i have known him for 13 years now i m confused wt to buy and do in this special day so plz ladies i need your ideas.thank u.

Well my husband turned 30 last year.. I planned on giving him a ROAST but that had to be cancled for us because of a family thing.. But I planned to have our family and friends over for a party and I picked a few people including myself I knew would be great to roast my husband.. (a roast incase your not familiar is people chosen get to stand up and pretty much make fun of guest of honor with joke and stories about him so make sure your guy is pretty easy going and can enjoy laughing at himself if this is the route you go) you can have this any kind of party it can be adults only where some serious joking will go on or you can even do this with you and your children and a few family members who will respect that children are present.

For just you two you can always get a room in town that will save money on driving anywere far (one with a nice big TV) and pick up some food and just hide out in the hotel room all evening watching movies or playing some games plan a nice massage for him and just enjoy being together alone ;) some hotels have 24 hour pool and hot tubs so call around and check them out. If you want you can do the same thing at home but when we do the home thing we usually cook a meal together and do all the thing you can't do with children around :)

You also could have the party with friends and family be a 30 years young party and plan it like a kids party.. Play musical chairs and other kids party games adults must play so make sure you have prizes for kids and adults also you could get pinatas a 3 and a 0 you can fill both with candy or fill one with candy for children and one with some miniatures or something else for grown ups it is funny seeing adults blindfolded and playing this game give them a good few turns first..

Ever send him on a scavenger hunt? I did this for My hubby birthday... I threw him a surprise party. He came home found a note from me with a clue (and a help line phone number) I sent him to all his friends houses one at a time and at each stop he got a clue and a reminder of a date or an event in our life, a photo etc.
at the end we ended up at our friends house with all the people he visited yelling surprise. It was So much fun putting it together. And altho he didn't like running all over the place he did admit he loved doing it.

The party was potluck and the stuff I gave him were really memories not expensive gifts. The party was very fun!
